According to Marca Lucas Patanelli has put pen to paper on a pre-contract agreement with Real Madrid. The Argentine youngster, who currently plays for Independiente youth team, was heavily scouted by the Spanish giants. However, Patanelli’s age prevents Madrid president Florentino Perez signing the player to a permanent deal, as he doesn’t turn 16 until February.
Patanelli’s talent and potential (he is being labeled the new Messi) impressed the Madrid scouts earning the youngster an invitation to the Spanish capital city. Patanelli visited ‘Los Blancos’ at their training facilities and was “sold” on the move after meeting the club’s top players.
