We talked if Mexico got hosed. How Canada is really happy to even go to a World Cup and more. 😀
We had a few callers from listeners who contributed to the show. We talked the recent CCL action, resulting in LigaMX ousting the MLS teams. Tigres vs Pachuca will be the final and we discussed who would fare better in the Club World Cup.
One of our callers dissed Tuca and Yon got quite offended. 😀
Join us every Wednesday evening!
We had a last minute surprise guest on the podcast today. Wiso Vazquez from FutMexNation joined us. We shared Estadio Azteca stories and experiences as well as discussed the Mexican National Teams recent 2 qualifier games, Osorio’s status as coach and more!
Have a listen!
This episode, we talk the upcoming Mexico world cup qualifier with Los Ticos in El Azteca. Main highlights: Mexico is treating this as an away game. Mexico should play cat and mouse game by conceding possession to counteract the inevitable Tico bunker. Azteca need not be an option with mostly Euro based call ups.
We also discuss the last LigaMX week, where Chivas continues to impress and win over members of our panel. Lavolpe even got some love and I mentioned that they should keep him and resign over the summer. Pelaez or whoever got rid of Sambu and Oswaldo Martinez should be questioned for not bringing back equivalent talented players.
Enjoy the show!
Woah! This episode had some heated and argumentative discussion and it was all Juan Carlos Osorio’s fault. Luckily, here on the CantinaMX podcast, we don’t get our feelings hurt. Unlike Jesus Corono who was crying because the refs bully him and make him sad with their inults and burlas. LOL. We discuss this as well as CCL action. We neglected the CopaMX talk, probably because we were missing our resident Chivistas.
The heat came when the JCO hate came. We also had passionate discussion on the reffing situation and how they are not angels themselves. We also talked about the Brazilian criminal who got out of jail and was still able to sign with a Futebol Club!
This was a fun episode. We had phone lines open, a couple listeners called in. We discussed the recent injuries, hard tackles and deserved discipline. Can the violence be fixed, are refs doing a poor job in protecting the players?
All the while, in CopaMX action Toluca were given 3 red cards and Pablo Aguilar from America head butted a ref. Things are getting crazy.
We also take a rare look at Europe and the UEFA CL game between Barca and PSG. Historic comeback and blah, blah. 😀
Thanks for tuning in!
This episode we had another guest, Steve Graff! He joined us for the entire discussion as we had loads of fun talking LigaMX. We discussed the Veracruz/Tigres/Tuca sanctions and basically how corruption continues. We talked the Chivas meltdown and how Jaguares continue to play up to their competition. We also discussed the Cruz Azul loss to America. Steve mentioned he is an America fan so we played his special Aguila theme song. Ron was tearing up for his Wilas as well. We also discussed the U-20 Mexican team who loses to US but still beats El Salvador to qualify for the U-20 World Cup.
Thanks for listening!
Another show, another special guest. Jason Marquitz aka @soccermexicana joined us to talk Cruz Azul and his history following the club. We talked about their current woes as well as those of Club America. Sad times, but we had some good discussion.
We had good participation in the live chat as well. Thanks to all those that participated. One topic of discussion that came up was the personal rumors and speculation of Chicharito and his break up with Lucia Villalon. I attacked Cheech, while others defended San Chicha! We also discussed Tuca’s behavior and out of line statements during the Veracruz fiasco. I was hating on all fronts and the chat group labeled our show “Primer Impacto” like. 🙂
Have a listen here, or on iTunes!
An exciting episode, this one! 😀 We had a special guest with us, Nate Abaurrea, who covers Xolos out of San Diego and does English broadcasts of Xolos games. We had some very interesting talk about Xolos, MLS in San Diego and other LigaMX items as well. We also talked about the recent announcement from Univision to broadcast English commentary of LigaMX games via Facebook. We talked about how pros and cons and how English commentary will work out and help grow the sport in the US.
It was a fun show everybody, don’t miss out!
LAS VEGAS, NV. We had a live chat episode this week. We chatted as we watched the Mexico v Iceland friendly. In a “molero” of games, Mexico had good possession throughout. Chucky played with ganas, Orbelin impressed, Gio was out of shape and Pulido scored the game winner.
We also had fellow panelists, Joel and Juan, onsite and they called in to report their thoughts on the game.
Twas a fun episode!
