Excellent show boys and girls! We are finally back in the LigaMX groove and we discussed the Pumas vs Chivas game that took place on Saturday. We also talked Chucky Lozano who scored 3 goals vs Leon. We ended the podcast talking a world cup with 48 teams and what that would look like. Check out the show!
New year, new podcast! Ok maybe not totally new, but we had a good time talking about the start of the LigaMX Clausura. We talk Moises and his new life at a poor Chiapas club. Pretty much every America player that has been transferred has not liked the way it was done.
We also gave predictions for both LigaMX and the National team with qualifiers and Confederations Cup. Join us every Wednesday night and listen live around 9pm Central time.
It is back for 2017! In this edition of the Gentlemen’s agreement CantinaMX Podcast host, John Jagou, and CantinaMX Barfly & Futmexnation.com contributor, Joel Aceves return from the Delphic Oracle to give their interpretation of what they heard from Pythia about what to expect in 2017.
And when we say Pythia, we mean Paquita, the local bartender.
In a recent interview, as seen below, Carlos Salcedo admits legal problems with his Sister and other financial problems he has had, even with his Mother.
He says, he felt swindled, when referring to properties, economic and even threats against his career. Carlos says he has put a stop to it and has made a separation with them. He is focused on his career in Fiorentina and wants to excel in Europe.
What are your thoughts on this news? Can family sometimes be a distraction and maybe not always look out for your best interest, when it comes to baller status money making?
His interview, in Spanish:
We have a new champion after a very exciting LigaMX Final. During this episode of the CantinaMX podcast, we give our thoughts and we hear the multitude of excuses from our resident Wila fan. Plenty of laughs are had.
We proceed to discuss other LigaMX topics such as foreign coaches in Mexico, biggest 2016 moments as well as our outlook for 2017.
This is a post game episode of the podcast, as we talk about the 1st leg of the Tigres vs America LigaMX final.
There is also a wealth of Chivas ranting in this one.
This episode we discuss America vs Tigres in the big final. We argue chepo, again. LOL. We talk about why we are fans of the clubs we root for. I also give my opinion on the failure that is going to be LigaMX femenil.
Gullit tears are tears of joy!
An exciting Weekend of Futbol has just passed and we discuss the events on a Monday late night podcast. It has also been announced that we have changed our name. This is now the CantinaMX Futbol Podcast. Let’s hope a bar fight don’t break out.
In this episode, we talk America win over Chivas. Tigres and Gignac, back in the groove. Sad flute time for Pumas. Much more!
LigaMX is over and Liguilla is set. We were ready to enjoy some good ribbing of Monterrey’s failure to qualify for the post season tournament. Our fellow rayado, Fernando was not present, however. We dedicate “sad flute” song to him.
We did analyze the matchups and made predictions. We also talked Copa Libertadores and even the USMNT firing of Jurgen Klinsmann.
Was the game a success or a failure? Why?
Albert Campa: More Oso than Hazana. A tie is not a win, any full joy and acceptance of not winning is mental midgetry. The 7-0 still looms, even the past WCQ cycle still looms. JCO does not want a repeat performance and played a conservative game. The paranormal does exist, despite CHicharito claims. I want to believe. *cue X-Files theme*
Daniel Preciado: It was a success, keeping in mind the 3 points obtained, he knew 4 away to start the hex and against the usmnt really makes things easier moving forward. The conditions and the panama tactics just didn’t make it easy for Mexico to play how jco wants to play. He was pragmatic which made sense given the circumstances and account no injuries.
