The controversy of the Pu*o chant is brought up yet again and will most likely be talked about in the future. No matter what FIFA or the FMF does, we may not see the end of this “yell” anytime soon. Ep. 17: Los Cachirules podcast – We talk the pu** chant, Ludueña’s comments and more!

BoothOn this episode, we talk the controversial Chant that is done at all Mexican NT games, when the opposing goalkeeper takes a goal kick. Is it inappropriate? are fans out of line and insensitive? Or is FIFA crazy for thinking they could ever control the fans?

We also talk of the recent Ludueña comments about the lack of youth development and how many players can get complacent and cruise in their futbol careers instead of working to better themselves and reach European leagues.

Then we talk the first Jornada in the LigaMX. Chivas improving but not gaining the win, America as well. The league is just beginnning, so this was just a start.

Mexico Defeats El Salvador in Juan Carlos Osorio Debut

Mexico defeats El Salvador

Mexico City, Mexico. — Mexico defeats El Salvador at home, 3-0, in debut match as they hope to reach CONCACAF’s final World Cup qualifying stage. Mexico enjoyed a comfortable score but failed to impress the Estadio Azteca crowd who jeered the team.

Captain Andres Guardado was the first to score for Mexico converting a well-taken set piece outside the 18. Hector Herrera followed up with the 2nd goal just before the half as he attempted to connect with Javier Hernandez, who mistimed his kick, but distracted the El Salvador keeper enough for the ball to bounce into the back of the net. Carlos Vela put the game out of reach with a sublime chip goal.
